Swine Flu spreads across the globe

Swine Flu has been spreading thick and fast ever since it broke out from Mexico. In fact the World Health Organization conducted a country wise survey and found that the world is not prepared to face the spread of the deadly virus.
And hence it was forced to raise the alarm level of the virus to level 4 last month, and it is even considering to push it to Pandemic level of alarm. Swine Flu has already spread into all the continents and over 8000 people have lost their lives to the virus so far.
Except US and Japan, none of the other countries are ready to face the deadly virus. And vaccine coverage for the virus is as low as 15% in few of the most populated countries including India.
Swine Flu virus is expected to spread faster during the winter season, and hence the World Health Organization has alerted the world countries to accumulate the vaccine in a big way.
US has already initiated vaccination for the military personnel who are away from US shores. Swine Flu has already cost Mexico over one percentage point of GDP growth, as per experts. The Mexico economy derives over 20% of it's income from foreign tourists visiting the country, and Swine Flu has reduced the tourist visit by over 80%.
