As the economy is still in the recovery process the increase of computers, smart phones and other devices is still low. The Intel investment in chip plants is huge and Intel expects a lot of return back in future. The company and consumers are optimistic about their future investment in chips.
The chips are smaller, faster and low power products produced by Intel. Intel has earned the largest gross profit margin in this history. Intel makes the core part of most of the personal computers. The atom chips used in net books and smart phones were sold for $1.4 billion last year by Intel. Intel has good reputation for supply of good quality chips that are fixed in net book, laptops and smart phones.
