Subscribe to the BlogThe US seems to be slowly and steadily losing the dominance in all the key sectors. In the last two years, it has lost the global leadership in the banking sector due to the financial meltdown, which helped the Chinese banks to gain leadership.
During the same period, it was also thrown out of the automobile leadership to the Japanese and Korean car companies. It is now losing the leadership in technology sector to lesser known Korean company Samsung.
The US is also likely to lose the status of being the leader in pharmaceutical research spending in another few years time, as companies would cut down on research spending to stay afloat.
