The clean up of the oil spill is in progress from last Thursday. During the clean up a worker drowned in the crude oil and continued into the sea about 430 kilometer. The yellow sea which is situated in the Northeastern city of Dalian is one of the important ports of China.

A pipeline which exploded caused the oil spill from last Friday. The explosion has reduced China's shipments from the strategic oil reserves for the rest of the country. China National Petroleum Corp informed the resume of the operations on cleaning. Last Thursday the petroleum company is known to cleaned up 400 tonnes of oil by 9am. National petroleum Corp of China is Asia's biggest oil and gas producer by volume.

The oil spill and the area of pollution has been shrinking described the Dalian Daily. The oil spill is estimated to about 1,500 tonnes of oil spilt into the yellow sea. It may take a decade to heal the ecological harm done due to the oil spill says a environmentalist. The effect of the people in and around the oil spill will be affected the most.

He said he had asked Lord Browne to look at the idea of a graduate tax "as a priority" in his current review in to higher education funding in England.

This would mean students paying for their studies through the tax system, rather than through subsidised loans.

He said high-earning graduates would pay more than those on low incomes.
