The ice melting in Greenland has land raising say scientists who found. Most of the island of Greenland is covered by ices which are formed due to the icecaps. The icecaps form some 2 km thick glaciers in Greenland and most of the Greenland is glaciers. The icecaps have caused the land as the icecap press the land down which lowers the elevation. The discovery of land rising was made from the scientists from the University of Miami. The Iceland melting even raise in coastal land rising about a inch per year according to the scientists.

When this raise of melting continues the increase of the land may even double as much as 2 inches. This raising of 2 inches will not happen immediately but will take a time of 2025 year at least. The principal investigator of the ice melting and land raising was studied by Tim Dixon. Many climatic changes are happening due to human advent and use of so many modern equipments. By doing some little changes in our lifestyle by us we can control the climatic conditions. Planting more trees, using necessary electric appliances, switching off when not required can change a lot in our climate.

The climatic changes are one of the reasons behind the melting of ice in Greenland and land rising. Tom said the melting of ice is so fast that we are able to see the land rising very soon. Many areas like Iceland and Svalbard are even affected by ice melting which is due to climatic changes. Another co author of the study raise of land due to ice melting study was Shimon Wdowinski. Further study is going on of how the ice melting can be controlled.

Many individuals face difficulties while finding a veterinarian for their pets. Even though it is rare, one has to take a pet to a veterinary assistant at some point of their time. However, certainly there are some occasions in the consultation of a veterinary assistant. Therefore, the problem of finding a veterinarian arises, which is frankly more exaggerated than most people expect it to be. It is not difficult to find a reputed veterinarian in the vicinity and the only reason why most of the people are reluctant is, it is not like the normal medical problems. Therefore, it will be certainly difficult to know the value of a veterinarian.

However, Veterinarian Directory, which are available on the net could be easily be used to find a perfect specialist in your area. These directories contain information about all registered veterinarians. Therefore, it could be used to locate a veterinarian anywhere. However, the directory does not classify veterinary doctors based on their ability or popularity, but simply lists its existence. Therefore, the evaluation of the veterinarian before making a visit is very important.

South Korea's foreign minister says it is "obvious" that North Korea sank a South Korean naval ship in March.

Yu Myung-hwan said there was enough evidence to take the issue to the United Nations.

The Cheonan warship went down near the disputed inter-Korean maritime border, with the loss of 46 sailors.

North Korea has denied any involvement. Mr Yu's remarks came as a multinational team prepares to announce the results of its investigation.

It is the clearest indication to date from South Korea that it blames Pyongyang for the sinking of the warship on 26 March.
ANALYSIS
Continue reading the main story The BBC's Nick Childs
Nick Childs, Defence and security correspondent, BBC News

The ramifications of what has apparently been concluded about the sinking of the South Korean warship are potentially very significant, and very sensitive.

What the official and popular South Korean response now will be is difficult to gauge.

The South Korean authorities will be under great pressure to take a tough stance, economically and diplomatically, although maybe not militarily.

There is talk of referring the matter to the UN Security Council. But that will pose difficult questions for key countries like China, and even the United States, with considerable uncertainties about just how to handle Pyongyang.

The incident has increased tensions between the two nations.

But despite making an error over Himalayan glaciers in its landmark 2007 report, the IPCC's basic conclusions remain sound, he said.

Rajendra Pachauri was speaking at the opening session of a UN-commissioned review into the panel's workings.

He said the panel had been ill-prepared to deal with the recent criticism.

"We have to listen and learn all the time and evolve in a manner that meets the needs of society across the world," Dr Pachauri told the panel.

We have not been effective at telling the public, 'yes, we made a mistake', but that does not change the fact that the glaciers are melting

The IPCC admits to including an erroneous date by which Himalayan glaciers might disappear in its recent report - a mistake that Dr Pachauri said was down to human error.

A married teacher is poised to become Italy's first woman priest when she is ordained later this month in an Anglican church close to the Vatican.

Maria Longhitano, a member of the breakaway Old Catholic Church, says she hopes her ordination will break down "prejudice" in the Roman Church.

The event may energise the debate among Roman Catholics about the role of women, a BBC correspondent says.

Pope Benedict is implacably opposed to women as priests.

His predecessor, John Paul II, even banned official discussion of the issue, BBC religious affairs correspondent Robert Pigott notes.

Although Mrs Longhitano will not be a Roman Catholic priest, her ordination in the borrowed Anglican church will be acutely uncomfortable for the Vatican, he says.
